The current training is ‘overdose response and Naloxone training’.  It covers reasons why people overdose, drug related deaths in Nottinghamshire, how it happens/effect on body, signs and symptoms, what Naloxone is and how to use it, and a demonstration of CPR and the recovery position. Training is usually for 10 clients, who are injecting drug users, or for people who will be around those at risk of overdosing.  Participants receive Naloxone at the end of the training (providing they are at risk of overdose).

Training is provided by The Health Shop and Recovery In Nottingham, Broad Street, Nottingham.
