Lose Weight with MOTIVATE

Notts County FC Football in the Community, Nottingham CityCare Partnership and Nottingham City Council are working together to tackle obesity and are launching their new weight management project, Motivate.

Motivate is a FREE, 12-week lifestyle and weight management programme, aimed at men (although women are welcome too), involving physical activity and nutrition workshops.

Participants who sign up to Motivate will have physical activities delivered by Notts County FC Football in the Community sports coaches, receive nutritional advice from Nottingham CityCare Partnership's Public Health Nutrition Team and have access to Nottingham City Council leisure facilities.

The project will be accessible and convenient for everyone who would like to take part and will be delivered at venues across the city, every day of the week (except Sundays) and at different times of day (morning, afternoon and evening). This will ensure accessibility to people from all backgrounds and areas of the city and sessions have been designed to be suitable for participants of all fitness levels.

If you or anyone you know would benefit from becoming more active,
professional diet and exercise advice and are motivated to lose weight,
call the Motivate team on 0115 955 7215 or email: info@nottscountyfitc.org.uk

Participants must:
Live in Nottingham City or be registered with a Nottingham City GP.
Be over-18 and male. Although we can accept women, Motivate is aimed at men.
Have a BMI over 30 or 28 for South Asians.
Men who claim incapacity benefit and employment and support allowance are a priority.
