Parklife 2008

Nottingham Crime & Drugs Partnership (CDP) is taking part in this summer's Parklife 2008 campaign, which takes place from the 22nd of July.
The CDP's 'Grass Lion' will be attending the events, to add its distinctive shape to the festivities, which are designed to showcase Nottingham's parks and green spaces.

Hosted by Nottingham City Council, Parklife is a free family fun day based at city parks, bringing together a wide range of local organisations and partners with activities and ideas about how to stay fit and healthy in your area. Parklife will also give you the opportunity to make decisions about your local neighbourhood.
There will be a variety of exciting activities available such as sports, games, street dance, climbing wall, under 5s and family sessions, art workshops, bouncy castles, youth activities, drumming workshops, salsa dancing, Heart 106 with Heart Al Fresco and interactive health activities.
This year there are nine Parklife events across the city. Each one will run from 11am to 4pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday 22nd July - Forest Recreation Ground, Gregory Boulevard
- Thursday 24th July - Melbourne Park, Melbourne Road
