Our 2007/08 Needs Assessment identified that there are areas of the city where problematic drug use is of highest prevalence. These areas also have the highest number of cocaine users who are not engaging in treatment.

As a result of this analysis a new locality based assertive outreach service has been commissioned to assertively engage and motivate drug users from within these specific locations to access treatment.
